Formed in the spring of 2010 as an improvisation-based instrumental quartet, Electric Children have found themselves exploring fresh combinations of jazz, funk, and hip hop music while bringing body-moving grooves to dancing Minneapolites around the town. With influences ranging from ?estlove, Black Thought, and The Roots, to Erykah Badu, to Umphrey's McGee and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, this group tries to combine energy and enthusiasm to get every night in line with the vibes around.
